Welcome to the new Pixelevate!
My original site served it’s purpose, but honestly, I put it together in a week and spent the rest of my time working on sites for my clients, I had a hard time offering SEO services and optimized code when I hadn’t even taken the time to implement them into my own site. This time around I gave the website and logo design a bit more thought and had a little more fun with it. I feel like the end results say it all, but I’ll let you be the judge!
I’ve finally gotten around to refining my services section, and broken everything down into an easier to navigate and understand format. I’ve branched further into graphic and print design and even taken on hosting my clients websites myself. I’ve always been passionate about the interface design and layout, but as I dug deeper into the coding and development, I began to realize I could provide a much more refined service if I took care of the hosting and maintenance instead of leaving my clients on their own with it. It’s been an amazing experience so far as I’ve been able to foster long term relationships with my clients and made some new friends in the process.
One of the best things about my new website is not the layout itself, but how it’s built. The entire site is build on a custom developed WordPress theme that I designed from scratch. I’ve learned an immense amount in the process and I think it’s safe to say that WordPress is now my content management system of choice. Not only does it make website updates a breeze, but it makes them simple enough that once I’ve designed and optimized a site, I can show the majority of my clients how to perform basic site updates on their own!
Special thanks goes out to my previous clients for their continued support, and to everyone else who has helped make this company possible. I live and breathe design and I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to team up and work with so many wonderful business owners and entrepreneurs.
My new site is just the beginning. I have a lot of plans for cool things in the coming months, so stay tuned!
